Eid Mubarak – Ramadan This Year…

We all know Ramadan this year has been tough for everyone. I myself cried many days – after witnessing war crime after war crime committed by Israel. Or should I say the Israeli Government. (If you had read one of my last posts, we went over the lesson that each individual is accountable for his/her own actions, not of others.)

Mashallah everyone who participated in Ramadan – May Allah accept our efforts & prayers…

The people of Gaza are in our hearts, but let us not forget other Muslims and many other people of all faiths around the world who are also being oppressed.

It is important to remind people that: ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE.

This is a statement that some wont believe, even someone in my own family…. People want to speak out against Islam, yet they do more harm than good. If you look at any Extremist Muslim Terrorist, look at their history. They’ve been victims of violence and political injustice. Some, so far gone, it wouldn’t matter how much I try to preach true Islam to them, they may refuse to take true Islam to heart. Anger and revenge is instilled in their hearts. We have to remind people, these people do not speak for Islam and they are only a small minority of Islam. 

When people Slander Islam it spreads only violence, not peace. Intolerance instead of tolerance – And when we have Muslims who grew up experiencing this – one shouldn’t wonder why they may become extremist.

It saddens me that this ignorance is causing tension not only worldwide, but within my own family – people I love.

What saddens me the most, is that people take things at face value, and ignore the voices that should be heard, like the voices of the children of Gaza. People don’t take everything into account by turning a blind eye by either ignorance or arrogance. What we can do, is pray to Allah (swt) that these children are guided, and do not decide to take revenge.

I feel it is important to know what is going on in Israel/Palestine from someone who isn’t pointing fingers. Here is a respectable balanced video.

One thing before you watch; Israeli officials admit the kidnappings of three Israeli teenagers  were not Hamas’s handiwork after all. Lets remember that Israel “believed” that Hamas had done things, but Israel, we know they did what they did…
